What a Great Night to Spend on the Worc. Common with Fantastic Mr. Fox

Wow, what a great day we have! There is no better way to spend this beautiful summer evening then to pack or pick up dinner and head down to the Worcester Common for 6:30 with the kids, family and friends. Here's what you can expect:

We usually have two bands play prior to the movie, but this time around we have decided to mix things up a bit with the Sort of Late Show with Shaun Connolly and the Overqualified Band with special musical guest Cara Brindisi & The Feather Merchants.

The Dogfather will be there selling their wide variety of gourmet hot dogs and the Wooberry truck will be there too! Worcester Film Works will of course be selling popcorn and Polar sodas, WOO Card holders will receive a point and a free small popcorn when they show their card.

Hannah Kuczarski will be selling lemonade at Sophia's Sunshine Lemonade stand (in honor of her sister Sophia who passed away last year at the age of 4 from Leukemia), 100% of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to Why Me & Sherry's House, a home right here in Worcester that has been providing love and support for families with childhood cancer since 1985.

Finz is scheduled to make an appearance between 6:30 and 7:30 and Orson, the Polar mascot, will be there to help distribute samples of some of their beverages. As usual, Cumulus Media's WXLO Street Team will be on hand prior to the movie.

And finally, at dusk, kick back, relax and enjoy a free showing of Fantastic Mr. Fox on our 15' x 30' screen!

Hope to see you on the Common tonight.....

The Flock Rocks and Ghostbusters Cleans Up the City

A great night on the Worcester Common last night. The Flock played for two hours straight and topped off their show with the Ghostbusters theme song. Ghostbusters in Blue Ray on the large screen with a great sound system was incredible!

Fantastic Mr. Fox is August 15, 2013......

Thanks to the Halloween Outlet on W. Boylston St. for letting us borrow their inflatable Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!

The Flock rocks!

The special surface at the Worcester Common Oval is great for sidewalk chalk creations.

Wooberry Frozen Yogurt swung by last night and did a brisk business right up to showtime.

Popcorn and Polar sodas.....
